How will it work?
Thankful4Farmers have partnered with ALDI to pilot a circular economy program to divert food not fit-for-human-consumption from landfill back to farm for animal food. The pilot will be in 10 ALDI stores on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

Please note the animal food will be a mixture of vegetables, fruit, bread, dairy, and some meat products. The fruit, vegetable, and bread waste best suited for pigs or chickens will be separated from the dairy and meat products and any packaging waste will be the responsibility of the farmer and will need to be taken offsite for disposal, not left at the collection store.
